(Use Your Browsers Print Function To Print This Page) The Annual Louisiana Brigade Dance is set for this date. On March 29, 2003 (1863 plus 140 years) Taylor's-Hays' Louisiana Brigade will hold its 5th Spring Cotillion. The event will be held at the DeSoto Parish Ladies Aid Society Building (AKA Red Cross Building - 6706 South Friends Avenue, Whittier, Ca. [See maps below for directions]). This will be a formal Cotillion, with period dress (either civilian or military) required. The Cotillion will utilize the musical talents of the Cottonwood Strings, along with the dance calling of Thomas Atkins, 1st Sergeant, Company E, 8th Louisiana. Based on information from the Red Cross, we will have to raise the price per person this year. The Red Cross has raised their prices to us 400%. Here is the pricing for the Cotillion: AT THE DOOR - $15.00 for Adults &$10.00 for Children. DISCOUNT PRICE BEFORE MARCH 17th - $10.00 for Adults & $5.00 for Children. As always, attendees are requested to bring light snacks (i.e., cookies, fruits, vegetables, etc.) for the mid-dance break. Libations (i.e., coffee, lemonade, water, etc.) will be provided by the Brigade. Any checks received after March 17th will have to pay the full price. Reservations and monies should be sent to Mark Schoenberger (11908 Tigrina Ave. Whittier, Ca. 90604 )
