REENACTOR INFORMATION
I am
pleased do announce Acton II at the Thousand trails RV park in
Acton. This is a great site with plenty of shade and green grass to
camp and do battle on. In typical California tradition there will be
water in the cement ponds and stream.
Horses: Are permitted. We will have hay available. Need to know if
you are coming.
Artillery:
Room for 6 cannons maximum of 3 per side.
Food:
Will be sold on site, last year the lines were quite long in their
cafeteria for Saturday night but the food was outstanding and fairly
priced. There are
restaurants in Acton just a short drive away and fast food at the
Fwy interchange
Dance:
Saturday night is on with the Occasion strings and our own Tom
Atkins calling.
Sutlers: All are invited and there is plenty of flat shady space. Please contact Paul De Nubilo at
denubilo@adelphia.net for more information
Non ACWS
Non ACWS members are invited. Non PACWR affiliated association members need to register and sign the release. See your brigade commander for instructions.
RV parking
will be provided free, if available, to reenactors, they will be
hook up sites but they are limited. To reserve a site call me 805
497-7020, or e-mail me at
denubilo@adelphia.net
Directions:
From Highway 14, take the Crown Valley Rd South to Acton. Pass
through Acton, cross the tracks, bear right at the Y, go under the
bridge and the park is on the left. Look for the entry sign.
Camps:
Currently we are planning the same
camp locations as last year.
