Unit Today

The members of the current 4th Regiment New Jersey Volunteer Infantry are Living Historians who seek to learn as much as possible about the lives of Civil War soldiers, especially those from the great state of New Jersey. Increasing our knowledge allows us to experience the life of the soldier and to experience the life of the soldier and to educate the public of the soldier and to educate the public about about the great price that was paid for the preservation of our Nation. The 4th New Jersey participates in the following aspects of reenacting.

Living Histories: Allow us to interact with adults and children and try to teach about the Civil War.

Reenactment: Weekends events, typically during the spring and summer, which allow the public to witness small skirmishes to large battles. They are highly planned events where many reenactor gather to get the experience of drill and battle.
