Please note that the Tiger events may differ from the ACWS events. Our  unit, though fully supportive of the American Civil War Society, does attend other scheduled events. Generally we go to ALL ACWS events, unless otherwise noted on our calendar below.

JANUARY

      19-20- 9th Annual Live Fire Invitational. Seeley Imperial Valley, Ca. Please see www.acws.net for more information and for registration forms. Please contact 2nd Lt. Paul Killian ASAP at Paul@tckillian.com if you are planning to attend.

 

FEBRUARY  

         2-  Annual Unit Meeting.  Time: 11:00 am.  Where: 4414 Avenida Madrid, Cypress Ca. Please note: This is for current active members only. In order to vote, you must have attended ONE event within the last calendar year. Officers and NCO's will be elected and other unit business will be attended to. Please bring a side dish.

       24-26- Battle of Spokane Falls. Spokane Wa. (This is an event we have been invited to attend       by the Washington Civil War Association. We were asked to join our fellow Tigers from the area.) More information is forthcoming.

JUNE

        7-8- Thousand Trails I, Soledad Canyon, Acton Ca. (ACWS) For more information go to:

The Tigers have decided to pass on this event. We did NOT do this for political reasons. We decided that it was too difficult to do two events back to back....and we also took into consideration the gas prices. Please note: We still STRONGLY encourage ALL ACWS members to support the great event, and ANY Tiger that still wants to go may, only remember that you may be asked to fall in with another unit.

 

JULY

           4-6- Gettysburg. Gettysburg. Pa.  You must be pre-register for this event.

         12-13- Vista Antique Gas and Steam Museum II, Vista, Ca. (Richmond Howitzers) More information is forthcoming. This event was cancelled due to the Gettysburg event. Please continue to support this event at other dates.

This meeting is held once a year to vote on future events, command staff and other unit issues. There are certain requirements for voting. If you attended even just one event as a Tiger (in period clothing), or as a Tiger civilian (in period clothing), you are eligible to vote.  ACWS membership is not required to vote as new Tigers may not have had the time to submit their ACWS membership. There is no by proxy voting allowed. Only those present at the meeting are allowed to vote if they meet the above requirements. The list of all those eligible to vote has been sent  out.
