Safety Requirments and Tests
The ACWS, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Living History Association, is pleased to announce our first event in Nevada. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is located at the base of the beautiful Red Rock cliffs in a valley just minutes west of the main part of Las Vegas. Trees, green grass and a spring are features of this State Park.
Pre-registration is Essential:

requirements. With registration you
will receive a vehicle pass that will allow you to avoid the gate fee. Make
sure you get this car pass if you are driving, as there is no avoiding or
refunding the State Park gate fee without one! You can mail the forms per
instructions, fill it out and scan it in and e-mail it to
email@example.com, or even e-mail the info, but be sure to include a return
address in each case for your vehicle pass. If you are coming in “after

From the South – Take Interstate 15 North to Blue Diamond Rd. (Hwy. 160) west. As the road forks, take the Blue Diamond Highway (Hwy. 159) to the right. Go past Blue Diamond and Bonnie Springs, and the Park will be on you left.
From the North – Take Interstate 15 South to the Las Vegas Beltway West (Hwy. 215). Continue to the Charleston Blvd. exit – turn lest (west). Continue past Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center and the Overlook and the park will be on your right.
From the East – Take Highway 95 West across the city to the Summerlin Parkway West. At the end of the Parkway, turn left onto the Las Vegas Beltway West (Hwy. 215). Continue to the Charleston Blvd. exit – turn lest (west). Continue past the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center and the Overlook and the park will be on your right.
From the West – Rappel down the cliffs.

Artillery $50.00 per battle – Horses $25.00 per battle – Infantry Bounty under 12 Rifles: 10 rounds per Battle each, 12 or more Rifles: 20 rounds.
Ration Issue (pre-register), reduced cost meals, reduced cost t-shirts, Sunday FREE Raffles to Pre-Registered Reenactors (Must be present to win): Confederate Infantry Musket; Union Infantry Musket; Mounted/Dismounted Cavalry and Artillery Pistol; Civilian Bonnet; Gift certificates; and more items for General Reenactors.
Amenities: Brigade Area fire wood, straw, hay, water buffalos, port ‘o johns, and dumpsters.
